How BellyUp! Austin Works

Find a meal, a music room or a match-day pub that gives you a reason to go out in Austin. The details help you choose, from playground time at Phil’s to Liverpool mornings at B.D. Riley’s.

1. Check the current place

We check a venue’s own menus, location information, events and social updates. Recent dated activity helps us tell a current restaurant from an old website that still looks open. If the information conflicts, the record says what needs checking.

The Pitch at Parmer Pond is a useful example. Its shipping-container setting is still memorable, but its own hours page says daily operations are paused. That notice belongs beside the name before anyone plans a visit.

2. Connect the details to the outing

A playground, a tasting menu and a Liverpool match are different reasons to go out. Phil’s on Burnet, Fabrik and B.D. Riley’s each have their own role in an Austin day.

One place can fit several outings. Birdie’s publishes a kids menu and welcomes leashed dogs outdoors. Those details connect its profile with the relevant discovery pages without turning it into a different restaurant.

3. Show what is known and what needs checking

Profiles keep the branch address and the sources behind a feature. Unknown hours, access details or dietary claims stay unknown. A room is not called quiet just because it looks comfortable in a picture.

The Austin Discovery Report also checks what restaurant websites make visible to search and AI. A blocked website is a different finding from a closed business. A score describes that website check, not how good the food tastes.

4. Make it useful for your day

Open a neighborhood map, choose a guide or start with the kind of outing you want. The audience sites follow the same venue records, so a correction to one place can help across the city.

Your Austin stories belong here too

Share a place you love or send a post, photos or a video through Rabbit Hole. Community recommendations and creator stories keep their credit. A creator’s visit is their story; it is not presented as a visit by our editors.

Correct a detail or reuse the facts

Every venue can send a correction for free. Paid placements are labeled and kept apart from the website-check scores. Public venue facts are available in the places export, with the discovery categories beside them.
